Senior Intelligence Analyst (Polygraph)

Description

Join MITRE's and work in partnership with government subject matter experts to advise government leadership on critical aspects of the IC processes and tradecraft by developing a repeatable and enduring framework for reinforcing the importance of warning as an organizational priority and discipline.

You will have an opportunity to contribute to projects of national importance, collaborate with senior intelligence professionals, and enhance their IC domain knowledge, business and analytical processes, and innovative thinking.

Key Functions:

  • As an advisor, you will work within a MITRE team and directly with IC principals and experts to perform research; conduct surveys and interviews of IC professionals; conduct seminars, roundtables, and conferences to solicit requirements to inform the design and development of IC analysis tradecraft frameworks, standard operating procedures, operational business processes, policy, and assessments of potential effectiveness of the proposed approaches.

  • This role will require execution of data gathering activities (interviews, conferences, brown-bags, seminars, etc.); detailed data collection and documentation; and formal report development, to include actionable findings and recommendations to the government sponsors.

  • This role requires the planning and execution of all details of the various forums (seminars, conferences, roundtables) necessary to solicit input from the IC professionals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Three or more years of experience in the IC

  • Experience working as an advisor with senior IC executives and decision-makers.

  • Capable of generating reports, and strong writing and briefing skills.

  • Innovative thinking and creative problem-solving skills to enable more efficient and effective execution of the mission.

  • Detail-oriented, self-directed ability to plan, execute all details conferences, seminars, and roundtables.

  • Experience identifying, documenting, and developing either business processes and standard operating procedures for large projects.

  • Ability to remain flexible to changing customer requirements and successfully operate in a fast-paced, complex environment.

  • TS/SCI with Poly

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of and prior experience with the IC program at a strategic level.

  • Experience performing senior level analysis informing immediate and long-term processes and policy deliberations.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills for executive level communication.
