MITRE’s Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Portfolio focuses on systems engineering, systems analysis, systems assessment, and advanced technologies. Join us and become a key contributor to resolve some of the most challenging problems of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS).
As Project Leader for the Left-Right Integration project, you will work closely with the sponsor to manage a coalition of MITRE, government, and contractor personnel implementing a whole-of-government strategy to improve collaboration and integration across the acquisition, policy, warfighter and intelligence communities against an urgent threat. You will be a primary point of contact for executives from across the inter-agency coordinating strategy implementation. You will bring together contributors across missile defeat and defense, providing strategic planning, program management, integration guidance, and skillful liaison for improved national strategic capability.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in:
Defense Policy and Doctrine
Candidates must possess the ability to:
Manage a diverse, geographically dispersed project team in a fast-paced project environment
Clearly communicate complex ideas to executive level stakeholders
Collaborate with numerous stakeholders across the MDA, Combatant Commands, Department of Defense, and Intelligence Community
Effectively administer multiple efforts against diverse and differentiated strategic objectives
Effectively communicate FFRDC and MITRE roles to bring differentiated value to the task
Possess and maintain a DoD Top Secret SCI clearance
BS in Systems Engineering or related discipline
8 years of relevant experience
