We are currently seeking a Lead Acquisition/Program Management Analyst, to join our Center for Acquisition and Management Sciences (CAMS) team. This position will be providing program management and thought leadership to Government program offices in planning, organizing, managing, acquiring and implementing large-scale IT systems. You will work on some of the most challenging technical and programmatic issues facing this important national security sponsor located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Key Functions will include:

  • Advise sponsor on the benefits and use of acquisition methods, contracting strategies, and other disciplines in the management and acquisition of IT programs.

  • Supporting efforts involving programmatic and budgetary issues facing our Sponsors.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in a related discipline

  • Minimum of eight years of related experience in the following:

  • Defining requirements

  • Developing acquisition strategies

  • Writing planning documentation such as acquisition plans, source selection plans, and risk management plans

  • Writing solicitation documentation such as sections of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Statements of Work (SOWs)

  • Serving as advisors during Source Selections

  • Supporting analysis and evaluation of contractor proposals

  • Assessing risks of contractor proposalsAssessing and mitigating risk in acquisition programs
