This role reports to the Director of Treasury within the Treasury Management of MITRE, and the responsibilities of the Lead Treasury Management Analyst fall into two main categories: Capital Expenditures (CapEx) and General Cash Analytics

  1. Work closely with internal stakeholders to forecast, monitor, analyze and communicate capital expenditures (CapEx) budgets and variances
  • Forecast reliable CapEx payments to support the cashflow and balance sheet forecast preparation

  • Perform monthly reconciliation of capital expenditures, construction in progress and project cost centers. Document and follow-up on discrepancies and make necessary adjustments

  • Prepare and distribute timely and accurate regular and ad-hoc status CapEx reports

  • Prepare and analyze Rolling Forecast depreciation expenses in line with latest CapEx plan

  • Carry out compliance duties such as the set-up, maintenance and documenting of internal controls

  • Report and explain results to other internal stakeholders, ensuring an understanding of the outcomes

  • Research and respond to information requests from internal departments and management

  1. Preparing long-range balance sheet forecasts and perform cash flow analysis
  • Work closely with Treasury colleagues to forecast, monitor, analyze cash position and variances

  • Work closely with AR Manager to monitor, analyze and project Accounts Receivable (AR) collections

  • Work closely with FP&A to forecast relevant balance sheet and cash flow statement items such as AR, CapEx and cash

  • Provide timely, relevant and accurate reports on reports on financial results and key metrics against appropriate base comparisons (prior year, budget and forecast) to facilitate management making decisions towards the achievement of budget and strategic plan.

  • Perform in-depth analyses to prepare and present business projections & deviations from plan.

  • Demonstrate appropriate understanding and working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls and apply them

  • Maintain proper controls and works with internal and external auditors as needed

  • Maintain and develop various financial models for use by Treasury


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS and 8 years related experience

Required and Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in either Accounting or Finance

  • Capital Expenditures (CapEx) and General Cash Analytics experience
