This position is for a task leader supporting the US BICES-X Coalition Laboratory located on Langley AFB in Hampton Roads Virginia. The candidate will be a technical adviser to the Government leadership of the laboratory focusing on the principals of system engineering and how best to apply them towards the achievement of US BICES-X program objectives. The task leader will provide subject matter expertise on:
Aligning US BICES-X program objectives and laboratory projects to support multinational intelligence sharing and federated support agreements between the Defense Department’s Combatant Commands, Services, Agencies and their partner nations.
Systems integration and testing of end-to-end interoperability between US and partner nation intelligence systems and intelligence sharing architectures during Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) experiments, trials, and demonstrations.
Integration and interoperability challenges for US and partner nation intelligence systems and system of systems and providing recommendations for mitigating the challenges.
The candidate will have the ability to develop a trusted advisor relationship with the Government’s program leadership.
TS/SCI clearance (no polygraph required)
Success in providing sponsors with the data, analysis, and strategies required to address critical issues, setting and meeting strategic objectives, and advancing short and long-term program goals.
History of achieve goals and growing trust.
Being a self-starter, creative thinker and able to function inside a dynamic environment, with minimal supervision.
Broad and diverse background in different technical and/or analysis roles, with a focus on multinational information sharing.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Effective in interacting with technical staff, analysts, and operators ranging from junior-level contributors to the most senior leaders in the government.
Experience in a consulting role, advising government, and being diplomatic in advocating technology and program directions.
8 years of experience in diverse technical or military intelligence domain roles.
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or national security field and 8 years related experience, preferably in the military operational domain.
