MITRE's CyberInfrastructure Department is seeking a leadcyber engineerto provide direct support toAir Combat Command (ACC)A2/3/5/6.The successfulcandidate willworkdirectly with the ACC to develop Network Operations (NetOps) and Offensive/DefensiveCyber Operations (OCO/DCO) requirements that will shape Cyber as a warfightingdomain and protect and defend the AF network from intrusion and attack.

Key Functions:

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of deployed DCO toolsand define cyber requirements to enhance cyber weapon system capabilities.

  • Leverage security frameworks to evaluate defensivecyber security measures and recommend improvements based on gap analyses.

  • Develop Concept of Operations (CONOPS) insupport of new and existing cyber operations missions (DoDIN Operations, OCO/DCO).

  • Perform engineering analysis of evolving cybertechnologies. Recommend opportunities for future use.


Desired Skills:

  • An understanding ofadvanced cyber threats targeting enterprises, along with the tools, tactics,and procedures used by those threats

  • Knowledge of ComputerNetwork Exploitation, Computer Network Attack, and Computer Network Defensetools and techniques

  • Experience building,managing, or performing daily analytic tasks within Cyber Security OperationsCenters or Cyber Incident Response Teams

  • Applicants must be able to obtainand maintain a TS security clearance

  • Familiarity with NIST SP800-37, NIST SP 800-53 r4, and DISA STIG

  • OSCP, CEH, GCIH, CISSP orequivalent certification.

Minimum Qualifications:

BS and 8 years of relevant experience
