In this role, you will provide BMC2 expertise to a team of operational, system and sensor experts supporting the joint fight in space. Activities could include:

  • Provide BMC2 expertise to multiple customers across warfighting domains

  • Support the development of operational capabilities supporting the Space Warfighting Construct and Multi-Domain Operations

  • Advise on the development and synchronization of resilient architectures and acquisition systems, as well as potential capability upgrades for operational systems

  • Support studies on cost-effective enhancements supporting Space Situational Awareness enterprise mission requirements.



  • MS Degree

  • Operational background in DoD warfighting platforms (space preferred), with an emphasis in C2 / BMC2

  • Technical breadth and experience with large, complex DoD systems including C2, communications, radar, and/or optical sensors

  • Advanced graduate engineering degree

  • Experience in developing CONOPs, TTPs and/or workflow for operational systems

  • Experience in system engineering, analysis, design, experiments, test and evaluation

  • Strategic thinker and planner. Excellent collaboration and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task.

  • Self-starter capable of working with minimal direct supervision

Desired qualifications

Experience in or familiarity with:

  • Fielded and developmental space capabilities and supporting infrastructure

  • Air Force Space Surveillance Network sensors, tasking, and CONOPS

  • Space Enterprise Vision/Space Warfighting Construct

  • Space operations, including satellite or multi-domain C2

  • JSpOC, NSDC or other Ops Center (including non-DoD)

  • Experience addressing complex technical and operational issues at senior levels

  • Large, complex system acquisition

  • Modeling and simulation

  • Offensive and Defensive Space Control and High-Value Asset communications requirements
