Candidate must be knowledgeable in, and be experienced developing, computer software and systems development using Java, C#, Python, and / or C and C .
Thisincludes analysis and design, software developmentand integration, technology assessments, software prototyping and code migration.
Candidate must keep pace with current and emerging technologies and their application tocomplex systems problems.
Must have hands-on technical knowledge of softwareengineering principles and practices, and experience working in a collaborativesoftware development team environment.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or similar field. Candidate should possess the ability to be responsible for deliverables or parts of deliverables to MITRE customers. Experience with expertise in DevOps,build management, and team-based software development a plus.
Candidate must possess the abilityto evaluate existing, and define new, solutions to challenging technicalsoftware and computing systems-related problems.
Experienced with object-oriented and component-based softwaredevelopment concepts and general mathematics.
Experienced with applicationdeveloping using modern programming languages, including Java, C#, Python, and/ or C and C .
Knowledgeable in message protocols, sockets, multi-threading design/ development, various build environments, and continuous integration.
Abilityto work effectively within a team-based, highly collaborative softwaredevelopment environment using source code control systems such as Git.
Knowledgeablein linear algebra and working with statistics.
Experience implementingalgorithms for messaging systems and distributed computing. Knowledgeable inembedded software development, debugging, and testing.
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills andthe ability to write clearly and logically about highly technical issues.
