Job Highlights:

Join the team of CF&A business analysis professionals providing business operations support to the Air Force Portfolio organization.

Key Functions:

Lead Program Control Analyst, in partnership with AF Program Control team, operates as a trusted strategic partner to facilitate the business operations and financial management of an AF Program Division.

  • Serve as the primary source of day-to-day financial support and guidance to a Program Division Director, Department Heads. Interfacing with Program Control Managers to provide them with the project delivery data and insights they need to support more senior customers.

  • Provide proactive analysis and recommendations for direct work program for the associated division.

  • Ensure consistent business practices are used, ensuring compliance with MITRE’s Policy and Procedures

  • Evaluate project financial health, risk mitigation, funding and execution projections.

  • Provide analysis and recommendations for indirect Tech Ops budgets.

  • Communicate with Sr. Management on issue resolution.

  • Lead a team of program control analysts on staffing, budgeting, and reporting best practices.

  • Conduct detailed analysis necessary to close out projects successfully including delivery, staffing, and funding requirements

  • Prepare materials for and facilitate regular financial reviews

  • Partner with staff across CF&A on cross-training and best practice activities

  • Support the execution of the organization’s strategic and business goals.

  • Interface directly with Technical Directors, Project Leaders, Resource Managers and peers serving as a trusted finance partner and CF&A point of contact

  • Deliver Project Leader training on financial tools and principles of project financial management

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • BS in business or financial discipline and 8 years of related experience

  • Ability to interpret, analyze and forecast financial data

  • Strong Excel skills including create pivot tables, charts and formulas

  • Experience with budgeting and financial analysis

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
