Purpose To work on a team that supports U.S. Forces Korea (USFK). The candidate will provide intelligence mission area and architecture expertise in support of the USFK JIOC and DIA DS. This position is located in Seoul, Korea.
Security Clearance Level SCI
Key Functions Multi-Discipline Systems Engineer will perform systems engineering, support data interfaces as well as communication architectures to support USFK Collection Management project. The candidate will evaluate, design, integrate, develop, and test advanced software applications and systems to support the critical needs of sponsors.
Required Education/Experience: BS and 1 year experience or MS
Desired Education/Experience BS or MS in Information Technology or related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Prior experience with Intelligence analysis, intelligence campaign planning, adaptive planning, strategic planning, and IT portfolio management.
Required Skills: Experience in programming high-level languages to support data standardization and data interfaces development effort.
Solid fundamental knowledge and engineering experience in computer networks. The candidate must have significant technical and operational expertise, demonstrated performance, and background in a variety of network system to be able to engineer solutions and develop prototypes.
Must have detailed understanding of DoD systems and networks.
Solid oral and written communications skills- Candidate must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
Must work well in a dynamic team environment
Working knowledge of services and application on JWICS, PASS-K CF, SIPRNET, and CENTRIX-K networks
Multi-tasking skills to handle both short and long-term projects
Experience in working with a variety of operating systems and programming language such as Windows, UNIX, LINUX, JAVA, C, C++, and script languages
