Purpose To work on a team that supports U.S. Forces Korea (USFK). The candidate will provide intelligence mission area and architecture expertise in support of the USFK JIOC and DIA DS. This position is located in Seoul, Korea.
Security Clearance Level SCI
Key Functions Provide joint intelligence mission area expertise for the DODIIS enterprise and the United States Forces Koreas Joint Intelligence Operations Command (USFK JIOC), supporting joint intelligence capability analysis, architecture, and development for the USFK theater. This position is part of a team who identifies intelligence capability gaps and works with key stakeholders across the DIA Enterprise, and other DOD/IC agencies to address those shortfalls. Candidate must be comfortable communicating at the general officer / flag officer / senior executive level as they relate existing and emerging technologies to intelligence capabilities for all-source intelligence.
Required Education/Experience: BS
Desired Education/Experience BS in Information Technology or related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience with Intelligence analysis, ISR sensors, collection management, intelligence campaign planning, adaptive planning, strategic planning, DODAF, BPMN, or IT portfolio.
Required Skills: BS and 5 years of related experience
Excellent writing, communication, and briefing skills, the ability to work both independently and as a team member, and the ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks and deadlines.
Effectively communicate IT capabilities and intelligence business processes between the IT and analytic communities.
Thorough understanding of Adaptive Planning, Intelligence Campaign Planning, and Joint intelligence and operational doctrine.
Experience working on a mixed government, military, contractor, and FFRDC team.
Desired Skills Thorough knowledge and understanding of intelligence and command and control IT systems in use by the joint intelligence and operational communities.
Previous experience working at a Combatant Command (COCOM) as an intelligence or operational planner.
Previous experience briefing at the General Officer / Flag Officer / Senior Executive Service level.
Strong grasp of strategic planning and IT portfolio management concepts.
Experience using DOD architecture tools.
Travel Statement *This position will require overnight travel up to 15% of the time.
Clearance Statement * Only candidates who currently possess the required Security Clearance will be considered for this position.
