Key Functions The primary role of an ERP Systems Engineer is to:
•Support large engagement teams by providing hands-on technical expertise in the development and configuration of the AF ERP Systems Level Solution.
General Responsibilities include:
•Ability to design and drive toward a systems / technical solution that is appropriately sized for the ECSS end user base
•Ability to debug and work through systems / technical performance engineering issues from an end to end perspective
•Ability to understand how to configure and critique Oracle’s Middleware software and SOA suite capability to address specific functional requirements.
•Deep knowledge of the Oracle OUM model
•Facilitate and advise sponsors on process changes related to the ERP implementation.
•Ability to become hands-on with the applications if applicable.
•Function as a liaison between Functional, Technical and Vendor groups.
•Ensure common designs are used across projects.
•Analyze existing processes, systems and potential customized system solutions against Best Practices” and document/champion gap closure.
•Review vendor capabilities, develop overall system synopsis, and prepare presentations for senior management.
•Assist with project planning and system implementation.
•Develop feasibility, business case studies, and estimates.
•Support ERP Change Management activities.
Required Education/Experience: BS and 5 years of related experience or MS and 3 years of related experience or PhD and 1 year of related experience
Desired Education/Experience BS degree in a related field (CS, IS, Mathematics) and experience in a distribution environment in high technology industry required. MBA or other related MS degree is desired. Must be a team player with excellent communication and analytical skills, and an ability to work closely with users, management, and vendors.
Required Skills: •Significant prior experience managing ERP Systems Integrators is required. Prior experience in one or more full lifecycle ERP implementations with Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, and/or PeopleSoft...Oracle eBS R12 preferred.
•Proven competency in ERP integration with 3rd party bolt-ons, application infrastructures, Enterprise Service Buses and, Service Oriented Architectures.
•Exhibit knowledge of integration points and the order in which these must be executed.
•6 – 8 years out of which 5 years in a similar position.
•Minimum 1 ERP complete life cycle implementation experience in Logistics, Supply Chain and/or Finance (Oracle eBS R12 preferred).
•Experience from ERP consulting companies or ERP system integrators as Project Manager will be an advantage
•Sound knowledge of IT Hardware / Networking to be able to lead a team of IT Support professionals.
•Hands on experience in using Project Management tools.
•ERP life cycle experience.

General Responsibilities include:
• Knowledge of Object-oriented programming and architecture (Preferably Java, J2EE, JSP and/or C/C++/perl/python etc.)
• Knowledge of SOA based development (Web Services, Orchestration, Authoring/ Authentication etc.)
• Knowledge of Oracle ADF Framework (SOA Development), Oracle SOA Suite products and FMW Products
• Knowledge of Oracle e-Business suite customizations using OAF and ADF frameworks
• Knowledge of e-Business suite ERD, App Tier structure and standards
• Must have good exposure to Oracle proprietary tools such Forms, Reports, SQL, PL/SQL, SqlPlus, SqlDeveloper, SqlTuning, RDBMS
