Individuals will design integrated solutions to support people, process, and technology challenges for government clients.

Key Functions MITRE is directly supporting Federal Agencies and their internal Program Offices responsible for the acquisition and implementation of modernized nationwide systems. This individual would work with the customer to advise them in aspects of Systems Engineering, Design, and Integration. They will apply their technical experience to support transforming and updating systems, processes and organizations, and will have functional knowledge of Enterprise, System, and IT life cycles. Experience in program and project management standards and best practices is a plus, with applied expertise in the areas such as process improvement, assessments and quality assurance, requirements management, configuration management, risk management.
Required Education/Experience: BS and 5 years of related experience or MS and 3 years of related experience or PhD and 1 year of related experience
Desired Education/Experience MBA, MS or equivalent
- Project Management Professional certification
- Experience on large information technology and acquisition projects
- Authorship of publications
- Public speaking, Consulting, and Facilitation Skills
- Previous work with Government Agencies and the commercial sector
Required Skills: At least five years of experience, in a leadership and managerial role, with responsibility for successfully delivering IT solutions

Travel Statement * This position will require local travel in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and overnight travel up to 10% of the time.
