Purpose Be recognized expert in MITRE by providing advice, guidance, and assessments to Intelligence Community (IC) sponsors across cyber disciplines such as cyber operations, policy and security.

Key Functions The MITRE Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Intelligence Professional to provide advice, guidance, and experience working in the intelligence community across multiple disciplines such as: analysis, management, operations, policy, and military intelligence. Provide insight into inner workings of the IC organization, key staff, and activities. Provide guidance on developing appropriate cyber procedures and policies for organizations.
Required Education/Experience: BS and 7 years of related experience or MS and 4 years of related experience or PhD and 2 years of related experience
Desired Education/Experience BS and/or MS or equivalent with 7+ years of relevant experience.
Required Skills: Demonstrated and/or verifiable technical and/or analytical background in cyber operations in support of the Intelligence Community, DoD military, and Homeland Security capabilities; experience and knowledge of policies that establish guidelines and procedures for defending an organization's cyber resources from both internal and external based cyber-based attacks.
Demonstrated ability in analytic and critical thinking. Demonstrated ability to review and retain large quantities of data and information to be able to synthesize and develop recommendations.
Very strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, necessary to articulate recommendations and how they are reached. Demonstrated understanding of intelligence community and national security initiatives, and congressional level activities.
Desired Skills Intelligence analysis experience. Familiarity with analyzing and synthesizing intelligence information covering a broad spectrum of strategy, planning, policy, collection, and operational information.
Cyber operations experience. Familiarity with both proactive and reactive measures including, but not limited to, cyber incident response, cyber intelligence and analysis, malware analysis, and vulnerability management.
Prior experience working with the government or intelligence community focused on one or more aspects cyber operations, intelligence analysis, operations and planning, and producing oral and written reports.
