Key Functions Position Summary:
• Develop and provide strategic and tactical guidance on the execution of policies, procedures, action plans and processes for QWL/D&amp;I to achieve organizational goals and aspirations.
• Serve as champion for programs and organizational change efforts related to QWL/D&amp;I and leverage these efforts to bring value to our employees and our customers/sponsors.
• Assist in the development and execution of a strategic diversity &amp; inclusion plan for the company in partnership with line management that is executable and links to strategy and the "MITRE way". Ensure we foster a culture that is inclusive of all dimensions of diversity.
• Provide guidance and direction on QWL policies and programs designed to enhance and sustain the quality of work life in areas pertaining to work life navigation and employee engagement. Analyze employee trends and make actionable recommendations and plans to address any gaps or areas for improvement working across the organization and with the HR Business Partner groups.
• Lead and collaborate on MITRE efforts for employer-of-choice listings. Provide analytics and data driven conclusions from survey data.
• Partner in creating and hosting diversity staffing events.
• Develop and leverage strategic internal and external relationships in QWL/D&amp;I. Be a major advocate for our Best Place to Work strategy.
• Provide best in class education and learning platforms based on organizational need and evolving best practices.
• Serve as a resource to develop MITRE's STEM talent pipeline.
• Work within the community in which we live and serve to help the organization to better recruit, retain and develop top talent.

• Manages school to career opportunities and assures that coops and mentors and mentees are properly oriented. This includes programs like Notre Dame Academy, Thomas Jefferson High Scool, and hospital-related healthcare related initiatives.
• Works on high level Quality of Worklife, Diversity and Inclusion educational programs both internally and externally.
Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's, plus 6 years experience or the equivalent in job-relevant work experience.
Desired Education/Experience • Bachelor's degree, plus at least 10 years experience including demonstrated leadership in major diversity and inclusion initiatives.
• Subject matter expert in the area of QWL/D&amp;I.
• Extensive experience providing daily support, leadership, and direction to direct reports.
• Ability to build and collaborate strategic working relationships with top university programs at certain targeted institutions such as MIT, Harvard, Howard and the University of Puerto Rico.
• Ability to deliver speeches and educational programs both internally and externally to MITRE.
Required Skills: • Extensive involvement in diversity and inclusion initiatives within a corporate, data driven, mission-oriented business.
• Project management experience working across enterprise to enhance programs, policies, and procedures.
• Experience working at all levels in an organization both strategically in driving corporate mission and tactically in driving division initiatives.
• Strong analytic skills benchmarking best practices and drawing data driven conclusions and recommendations.
• Excellence in both written and oral communication skills as well as IT literacy in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proactive, collaborative, passionate, and highly motivated leadership skills.
• Experience in defining and implementing change management strategies in a complex, highly technical, fast paced environment.

Working in close collaboration with the divisional Director, a strong team of HR Business Partners and colleagues, as well as senior organizational leaders, you will be in a primary leadership role managing, and participating in all activities pertaining to the QWL/D&amp;I.

Purpose Join MITRE as the lead organizational effectiveness consultant to one or more MITRE organizations.

Key Functions Provides organizational consulting services to one or more MITRE organizations to significantly improve their capability, performance, business outcomes, and customer satisfaction. Proactively identifies strategic gaps or opportunities in organizations, and proposes a consulting plan to identify and address root causes. Gathers, analyzes and presents data to clients, and recommends solutions that fit within the client’s culture, timeframe, strategic direction, and resources. Works closely with senior executives and key members of the organization to design and implement the solution so that the desired outcomes are achieved. Provides a variety of organization development services, including organization diagnosis, organization design, process redesign, change management, strategic planning, succession planning, team dynamics and coaching, new leader transitions, executive coaching, survey design and analysis, and instructional systems design. Also serves as an account manager to specific MITRE organizations, ensuring that the needs of these organizations are satisfied through MITRE Institute products and services.

Collaborates with HR Business Partners and external vendors to develop and deliver programs to meet specific business needs.
Required Education/Experience: BS or equivalent and 7 years of related experience or MS or equivalent and 4 years of related experience or PhD and 2 years of related experience
Desired Education/Experience Master’s degree or PhD in a discipline such as organizational development, organizational behavior, psychology, management, or a related field is required. Ten plus years of experience working with senior-most levels of leadership to design and lead change. Outstanding customer engagement skills are a must.  Experience working in high tech industries or in government or government-related companies is a plus. Strong project management skills are a plus.

Completion of an ICF certified program in executive coaching is desirable. Experience working in a corporate organization development department is desirable.
Required Skills: Theoretical and practical knowledge of key areas in organization development (e.g., organization diagnosis, organization design, process redesign, change management, strategic planning, succession planning, team building, organizational learning, culture change, meeting design and facilitation, new leader transitions, executive coaching, survey design and analysis, needs assessment, instructional systems design, etc.).
