Job Title Lead Cyber Security Engineer (Cross Domain Solutions)

Purpose As a member of MITRE's Cyber Security Team, you will help develop, apply, and integrate advanced technologies and approaches to solve our nation's most critical Cyber Security problems.
Security Clearance Level Top Secret
Key Functions Work directly with the DoD Security Accreditation Working Group (DSAWG) chair; provide engineering leadership to the DoD and Intelligence communities as they approve challenging new technology, including critical enterprise architectures and Cross Domain Solutions (CDS).
Required Education/Experience: BS and 5 years of related experience or MS and 3 years of related experience or PhD and 1 year of related experience
Desired Education/Experience MS in EE, CS or related technical field
Required Skills: - Knowledge of DoD and Intelligence Community Information Assurance policy, directives, and strategies
- Knowledge of Information Assurance principles and their application
- Knowledge of enterprise and network security concepts and solutions
- Knowledge of the DoD acquisition processes
- Familiarity with CDS concepts, technology, and usage
- Excellent communications, writing, and briefing skills
- Ability to build relationships with government sponsors
Desired Skills - Experience leading DoD CDS or network engineering initiatives
- Familiarity with DoD and IC CDS policies and procedures
-Experience with DoD and Intelligence Community Certification and Accreditation processes and procedures
Travel Statement *This position will require overnight travel up to 5% of the time.
