Purpose Lead a software development effort to produce a risk reduction pilot with a potential operational capability. Define and implement the software development strategy. Interpret functional and performance requirements and translate into incremental software development efforts. Task and oversee a small team to implement algorithms, workflow management, and performance monitoring software. Establish a development and test environment. Demonstrate the progress of the software development team to Government representatives on a regular basis.

Required Education/Experience: BS and 5 years of related experience or MS and 3 years of related experience or PhD and 1 year of related experience

Required Skills: Demonstrated experience in leading a software development effort. Current knowledge of agile software development practices including SCRUM. Demonstrated proficiency in C, C++, Java, Hadoop, PIG, Mapreduce.
Desired Skills Experience in working with RF engineers, physicists, and interpreting requirements.
Travel Statement *This position will require overnight travel up to 10% of the time.
