Job Title Lead Financial Analyst

Purpose Post-MBA Rotational Position in different CF&amp;A departments or in some cases in different business units and gain a corporate-wide understanding of the company

Key Functions - Participate in various strategic activities in finance including long-range strategic/business planning, enterprise cost reduction/re-allocation, finance roadmap, and preparing executive level presentations.
- Proactively identify, design and implement strategies to resolve performance gaps and operational processes to optimize for value creation
- Drive discipline and control around capital and operating spending
- Evaluate and advise on the financial implications of alternative business decisions to inform decision makers
Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's, plus 6 years experience or the equivalent in job-relevant work experience
Desired Education/Experience - Masters degree in the business fields, such as business administration (MBA) or operations management
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in finance, quantitative analysis, or management consulting
Required Skills: - Possess quantitative data analysis, problem solving, and analytical modeling skills with the ability to develop/analyze business cases
- Self-starter and problem solver, able to scope an undefined problem and drive it to completion
- Strong foundation of corporate finance concepts. Experience working across multiple functions (e.g., operations, IT) and business units
- Continuous improvement mentality with the capacity to drive change
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
Desired Skills - Macro-understanding of business operations and priorities and the ability to articulate them effectively through summary analysis and representative models.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and act in an independent, confident, open-minded, flexible and consultative manner.

Job Title Budget Strategy Analyst

Purpose This position is responsible for the management and allocation of funds appropriated to acquisition programs. This includes assisting sponsors with building and executing fiscal budgets, prioritizing funding allocations to ensure alignment with strategic program and organization goals, forecasting budget requirements, tracking cost and schedule variances on contracts, and responding to both Congressional and various oversight organizations’ requests for information.

Key Functions • Performs financial statement preparation and analysis
• Conducts process analysis and implementation
• Stay abreast of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Cost Accounting Standards, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Prepares internal and external financial reporting
• Conducts financial budgeting and forecasting modeling
• Project management/cost control
• Budgeting, pricing and financial modeling
• Performs strategic partnering and customer service
• Assist Proposal preparation and fact finding
• Forecasts and monitors budgets
• Consolidates corporate cost data
• Develops cost allocations methodology
• Forecasts multi-year contract pricing
• Analyzes budget variances
• Performs risk analyses
• Develops initiatives to balance financial performances with operational strategic goals
• Evaluates the feasibility of work plans based on present and planned capacity in financial terms, staffing, facilities, and equipment
• Identifies and documents critical processes
• Disseminates “best practices: to functional groups and assists in implementation where applicable
• Performs liaison function between corporate and business units
Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's, plus 6 years experience or the equivalent in job-relevant work experience
Desired Education/Experience MS in Accounting/Business, 10 years federal accounting.
Required Skills: • Must be familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulations, Cost Accounting Standards, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Must have at least 10 years of federal accounting and/or acquisition experience
• Must have the ability to prepare and present reports/briefings to sponsors
•  Must have the ability to research wide range of topics of emerging interest to meeting both technical and functional requirements
• Must have strong verbal and written communication and the ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences, including government and military seniors
• Must have the ability to be an effective team member, provide leadership, team building and good organizational skills
• Must demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and ability to deal with ambiguous situations on a consistent basis; perform effectively as a team member; and develop peer relationships
• Must demonstrate the ability to contribute to multiple tasks simultaneously and to interface with a wide variety of stakeholders at various levels is required
Desired Skills • This candidate should be a proactive self-starter with excellent organization and listening skills who works well in a dynamic work environment with multiple priorities
• Candidate must be able to work on-site, with government program managers leading different aspects of development efforts, as well as interact with an integrated team of technical peers in a lab environment. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are desired
