Security Clearance Level Secret
Key Functions Provide systems engineering and enterprise architecture support focusing in the AFSPC cyberspace realm. Act as a thought leader in the development of a first of its kind enterprise architecture that will support portfolio management and decision making at the Air Force Space Command. Contribute to the development and implementation of the concept, approaches, processes, tools and techniques for institutionalizing enterprise architecture at AFSPC. Contribute to the harmonization of frameworks, governance, vocabularies and tools with other organizations such as AFNIC, ESC, AFMC, SMC and HAF/CIO.
Required Education/Experience: BS and 1 year experience or MS
Desired Education/Experience Master in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related area
5-10+ years’ experience in engineering, or systems engineering.
Hold current recognized Architecting or Process Engineering certificate
5-10+ years’ experience working in or with DoD
2+ years consulting or teaching
Required Skills: Deep Systems Engineering knowledge, sufficient to provide guidance and mentoring to the customer and to ensure that architectural activities are solidly directed to systems engineering needs. Expertise in enterprise architecture concepts, sufficient to create new fit-for-purpose artifacts for the purpose of satisfying the information needs of portfolio managers and other acquisition decision makers. Broad knowledge of alternative architectural tools, languages, methodologies and frameworks. Good understanding of program portfolio management, DoD acquisition, and the Air Force cyberspace domain. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Functions Be a member of a laboratory team of radar systems analysts evaluating the performance of cutting-edge space surveillance systems vital to the DoD and Space Situational Awareness communities. Apply industry-standard software development and service oriented architecture practices to enhance radar modeling and simulation tools used for proof-of-concept and prototype experiments, while assessing performance and investigating possible system improvements.

Student will gain hands-on experience in the design, development and test of modeling and simulation software applications that are developed in Java, C++, and XML technologies.

Student will assist in managing lab and computer network configurations as well as hardware and software configurations.
Required Education/Experience: Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree
Desired Education/Experience Successful completion of freshman year in a BS degree field of computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, math, or similar field.
Required Skills: Strong programming/analytical skills.

Experience and/or class work in any of the following areas: C++, Java, XML, C#, JSP/PHP, XSLT, HTML.

Ability to work in a team environment

Purpose Provide operational and administrative security support to multiple SCI activities in Colorado Springs, CO
Security Clearance Level SCI
Key Functions Perform routine security tasks associated with the day-to-day operations of facility SCIFs by following established policy and procedures in the Colorado location.
Primary responsibilities include oversight and accountability of various day-to-day security operation(s) and/or other functional areas to include but not be limited to:
• In-depth understanding and ensuring compliance with all government regulations and directives of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCIDs) are met.
• Activities include implementing established security procedures to meet customer requirements as the primary point-of-contact for one or more programs/areas.
• Document accountability, handling, storage, transmission and/or destruction of classified information.
• Process outgoing/incoming visit certifications.
• Ability to work a varying shift schedule and overtime as needed.
• Investigate security incidents and provide reports to the SSO Manager.
Required Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, plus 5 years of experience or the equivalent in job-relevant work experience
Desired Education/Experience High school graduate with a minimum of three years experience in physical security, access control or security administration or the equivalent.
Complete understanding and application of principal, concepts, practices and standards related to SCI programs for the Intelligence Community as well as the DoD Community.
Ability to execute assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Highly organized with attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Skills: Candidate must possess a current SSBI for a high level security clearance.
Desired Skills Must be self-motivated and possess good judgment. Must have the ability to deal effectively with all levels of the MITRE and Government communities. Good oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus.
