Purpose MITRE, on Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Companies To Work For" list ten years in a row, is seeking a Co-op student for our Information Technology (IT) Enterprise PC and Mobile Solutions team. In this position, you will work with technical team members to create top-quality solutions that address MITRE's business needs.

Key Functions This candidate will work closely with senior team members and project leads in a highly collaborative and supportive work environment. Specific duties will primarily be related to implementing virtualization technology to improve management of special-purpose endpoint systems. In particular, the candidate will assist the endpoint virtualization team with:
Application profiling
Designing XenDesktop images, scripts and Group Policy
Testing use cases
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Education/Experience: Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree

Required Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills - In depth knowledge of the Windows 7 O/S
- Experience with VBScript,.Net languages(Powerscript, VB, C#) and/or other scripting tools
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills;
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as be self-motivated to work on some individual projects.
