MITRE IT's Web Development department is looking a co-op who loves coding

  • TIME PERIOD - IMPORTANT: Student must be available to co-op from Jan - Jun 2018.**

We're a team of passionate developers who mostly focus on Javascript and Java development, but we love to explore new technologies all the time. This co-op will involve developing in all layers of the web application stack: front end (markup/css/javascript), webservices, database, and everywhere in between. We ramp our co-ops up and then put them on real project work as soon as they're ready. By the end of this co-op, our candidates are valuable members of our development team producing work of real importance to our users.

Specific tasks will be derived from ongoing new project work as well as operational demands.

Technologies the candidate will be exposed to:

  • AngularJS

  • NodeJS

  • Java 7.0

  • Spring MVC

  • Jira

  • Docker

  • Continuous Integration products

Qualifications

The ideal co-op candidate will have:
